"there's color everywhere....."

I just don't get it why being specific in colors are so important to our Chemistry teacher?! When I was in grade one the colors i just knew are blue, red, white, yellow, green, brown, red.
When I step to high level of education...I met color yellow-green, blue-green, pink, fuschia (is the spelling correct?) pink, flesh, maroon, checkered, stripes...
And now that I am in college...It becomes worst...
prussian blue, moss green, brick red, brown-orange and deep red do exist pala?! hahaha...
My topic is inspired by my score in our Chemistry Lab., I got 16 over 25 in the Experiment No. 10 because of those color I've mentioned a while ago. My golly, who the hell coined those colors?! I love to kill them! They're beginning to break the bridge of chance to my dreams.
